Located inside Fort Kohna in the center of Multan city is land mark and identity of Multan. It belongs to Sheikh Rukn ud Din Abul Fateh, commonly known as Shah Rukne Alam (King Pillar of World) was grandson of Sufi Saint Bahaudin whose shrine is nearby inside the for Kohna Multan. This big doom (when built it was second largest in the world) was constructed by Ghaus ud Din Tughlak king for himself but was given to the saint by his son. Saint was previously buried with his grandfather. Tomb shows the beauty of pre Mughal architecture in subcontinent. It is typical of Multani architecture.
